The School Of Athens, Raphael (1483-1520)
Scuola di Atene, Raffaello Sanzio
The School of Athens portrays Plato, Aristotle, and other ancient philosophers engaged in philosophic inquiry.

At Antioch, we take seriously Christ’s command to love the Lord our God with all of our minds.  This includes being able to formulate and articulate rational responses to the real doubts that believers entertain and to the legitimate objections to Christianity posed by skeptics.  Unlike many churches today, we welcome and encourage the voicing of such doubts and objections, and are committed to providing safe, credible forums for doing just that.  Here at Antioch, our Apologetics Ministry, Acts 17, takes its name from a special chapter in the historical narrative of the early church.  In it, Paul engages with the diverse philosophies of both the Jews at Thessalonica and the Greeks at Athens.  In Central Oregon 2000 years later, many bright folks still find in Christianity answers to the tough questions that often keep skeptics from believing and believers from growing in faith.  We would love to help you in your search for truth.
