Director of Middle School Ministry

I have lived in Bend since August, 2006.  I grew up in Southern California, and went to college in Chicago, IL, at Moody Bible Institute.  I currently live with my brother, and work at the Downtown Starbucks.

If you could do anything, what would it be? I would travel the world, meet new people, and network for the worldwide local church with hopes to make a difference.  I would also try to learn as many languages as possible. 

What Areas of Antioch are you excited about? I am excited about the creative potential. I figure it goes without saying, but I am pumped about the middle school ministry.  I am loving Mosaic.  I guess it comes down to relationships.  I am excited to go at doing life with people in Bend, and coming to know and love the Lord together. 

What are your pastimes or hobbies? Any kind of thrill, be it jet skiing, wake boarding, snow boarding, body surfing, skydiving, road trips, and the list could go on.  And I love laughter.

What are some of your favorite books? One of the most life changing books I have ever read is In The Shadow of the Almighty, compiled by Elizabeth Elliot from her husbands’ notes and journals.  The Knowledge of the Holy, by A.W. Tozer is an all time favorite that I love to reread.  The Pressure’s Off, by Larry Crabb rocked my world.  I am currently reading the 13 Confessions of St. Augustine, and it is moving up the charts pretty fast.  I also love kid books with bright pictures and some sort of rhyme.  They make me laugh.

What are your three favorite movies?   Life Is Beautiful, Endless Summer II, and anything Disney (I can’t choose).

Education: Double BA in Communications, Print Media and Evangelism / Discipleship from Moody Bible Institute.

Favorite Food:  Anything fresh.
