Antioch had its first ever Art Sunday on May 20th! At Antioch, we believe that far too often artists have to check their talent at the church door as they come in to worship God. It is our desire that artists be affirmed in their talent and gifting, and that the community as a whole would benefit from their creativity, symbolism, and expressions of meaning and beauty. One way to do this is to have Art Sunday's where Antioch highlights different artist's from within our church.
This past March 22-April 1, Alpha teamed with First Baptist Church and Amor Ministries to go on a mission?s trip to Mexico.
In recent weeks, members of Antioch have been gathering to discuss the AIDS crisis in Africa, and ways that we can partner in making a difference. During this process we found a ministry that shares our heart and passion not just for preventing disease, but for changing lives. This past week, Antioch had the pleasure of hosting Ugandan Pastor Fred Sekyewa.
