ANTIOCH SUMMER BBQ'S

Each Sunday, June 29 through the end of July, we did a BBQ after the church service. The first BBQ of the summer was held at the Kilns as a Kilns grand opening.

   

ART BOOK

July 20th was Antioch’s 3rd Art Sunday.  There was a variety of art displayed throughout the hallway of Summit High, including paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry and much more.

   

WORLD RELIEF PARTNERS WITH ANTIOCH

World Relief is an international relief and development organization, based in Baltimore.  Its mission is to work with, for and from the Church to relieve human suffering, poverty and hunger worldwide in the name of Jesus Christ.

   

FAMILY FUN DAY

We had a great turn out for Family Fun Day at Sun Mountain Fun Center! Sun Mountain gave Antioch a private room where we had face painting, raffles and prizes.

   

MATSIKO KIDS CHIOR

Making central Oregon the second stop of their nine-month U.S. tour, the Matsiko Ugandan Children’s Choir performed for the Antioch church service on Apr. 27, 2008.

   

KILNS COLLEGE

In 2007, High Desert Christian College administration had achieved full state accreditation for the college and decided to turn the school over to new leadership as a strategy for further development of the school.

   

AFRICA MISSIONS TRIP

The Africa team has just returned from a two week trip to Uganda and Burundi.  After 2 days of flying we arrived in Uganda Wednesday morning only to find that our bags did not arrive with us! 

   

MOVE TO SUMMIT

By November of 2007 the Antioch staff realized that we had severely outgrown our facilities at the Regal Theatre in the Old Mill.  Antioch had been meeting at the theatres since we began in October of 2006 and had grown from 90 adults in the beginning to close to 300 adults in attendance on a weekly basis.  

   

HUMAN RIGHTS SERIES

“Unspeakable” was a three-week series at Antioch Church which took place on November 4th, 11th and 18th , 2007...

   

WORSHIP SUNDAY

October 28th was Antioch’s first ever worship Sunday. It was an amazing experience.

   

BAPTISM 2007

Sunday, August 12th, Antioch had its first ever Baptism at the Deschutes River.
