To know the best about me you simply need to meet my wife and daughters. Tamara is my hero and my daughters bring me more happiness than anything else I could possibly imagine. I love living in Bend, taking our girls hiking, reading anything of historical value, and watching Seinfeld reruns on Monday nights with some of our friends.

Thankfully God and my wife are both patient persons, as my story is one of grace!  Trisha and I are the proud parents of two beautiful girls, Madalyn and Andra.  The trio of women in my home keep me eternally on my toes, humble, and soft enough to enjoy most chick flicks to my own dismay.  I am excited to be part of such a wonderul community in such a beautiful location!

If you have ever seen a James Bond or Bourne movie then you have a pretty good idea of who I am. And for some strange reason I attracted the most beautiful woman, my wife Kristen. We spend quality time taking walks, watching movies and gazing DEEPLY into each others eyes - we are so in love!! I believe I have been called to be a Youth Pastor because I desire to impact the youth of Central Oregon by planting in them a will to live for Jesus Christ alone.

GARY CHRISTENSON

I met my wife last year while living in Maui. We became engaged on the island and got married in southern California in October of 2006. After the honeymoon we packed up a rental car and moved here to Bend, just cause! We moved here without knowing anyone, we didn't own a vehicle, we had zero hookups, and no sweet jobs. It was a step of faith in our new life together and we couldn't be more stoked about what God is doing here in Bend!

Gary and I moved to Bend in November, 2006, the week after our honeymoon. We didn't know a soul in Bend, didn't have jobs, didn't own a car and we moved into a duplex we rented over the Internet. Since that week, we have been through too many crazy, terrible, wonderful and unexpected adventures and twists in the road to not be convinced that we are right in the center of God's will. Currently, I work two days a week at Tetherow Realty as a Sales Office Coordinator and hopefully I will be spending the other three days a week at Antioch working on the "abroad" portion of Antioch's commitment to be a Missional church. I am thrilled that God's plan has led us to Antioch and am incredibly excited to see what He is going to do.

I’m an Avian Ecologist (bird guy).  By God’s grace, my passion for owls and other birds of prey has enabled me to travel to much of North and South America and the Caribbean conducting or presenting my research.  But I’m even more excited about the overwhelming evidence God is graciously providing our skeptical generation for His existence and the way Christianity uniquely makes sense of the world.

I have lived in Bend off and on for 10 years. My favorite thing to do is travel and read! I currently work fulltime for Antioch as the Office Manager.

I have lived in Bend since August, 2006.  I grew up in Southern California, and went to college in Chicago, IL, at Moody Bible Institute.  I currently live with my brother, and work at the Downtown Starbucks.
